HindlePat Hindle (Editor) parlayed his process engineering background into a management role in marketing communications for several leading microwave semiconductor manufacturers including MACOM, Raytheon and Skyworks (Alpha Industries), in addition to working at MIT Nanostructures Laboratory manufacturing X-ray diffraction gratings for space research telescopes like Chandra. He has a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from Cornell University and MBA from Northeastern University. In his current role as MWJ editor, he is responsible for setting MWJ’s editorial direction and developing marketing opportunities for our clients. He has been the conference manager for EDI CON China and helped launch Signal Integrity Journal.

LerudeGary Lerude (Technical Editor)五福彩票821app下载 spent his career as a “midwife” aiding the growth of the compound semiconductor industry, from device to application, from defense to commercial. He spent 19 years at Texas Instruments, 11 years at MACOM and six years with TriQuint serving in a variety of engineering, engineering management, program management, marketing, business development, and product line management roles. Gary holds an engineers degree (ABD) in EE from Southern Methodist University, a bachelor’s degree in EE from the University of Denver and a master’s degree in systems engineering from Wright State University.

BashoreFrank Bashore (Consulting Editor) spent his entire professional career in microwave engineering and associated management positions within companies primarily designing and developing microwave components and subsystems. Frank was instrumental in developing some of the earlier microwave oscillators and VCOs for both military and commercial applications. He has held positions in M/A-COM, Loral, Frequency Sources, Adams Russell and other microwave component companies. Frank retired in 2007 after 13 very enjoyable years as Microwave Journal’s Technical Editor. Mr Bashore is a BSEE graduate of Newark College of Engineering, currently New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a Lifetime member of IEEE and currently resides in Westford, MA.

HoweHarlan Howe (Consulting Editor) has had a 50 year career in the microwave community, including 33 years as an engineer at Sperry, LEL, M/A-com, Adams-Russell, and 17 years as Publisher and Editor of Microwave Journal.

he continues to serve on the erb since retiring in 2007. he is an ieee fellow, past president of mtt-s and the author of many papers as well as the book "stripline circuit design". he received a b.s. degree in optics from the university of rochester in 1957.


 

VyeDavid Vye (Consulting Editor)五福彩票821app下载 is the Technical Marketing Director for the NI AWR Group, responsible for product messaging/positioning, sales enablement, content development/distribution, demand generation, marketing intelligence and product introductions of NI's RF/microwave circuit and system design software. Mr. Vye, a former Editor and Business Development manager for Microwave Journal, has held a number of technical and marketing positions throughout the RF/microwave industry including Business Development Manager at ANSYS, Product Marketing Manager with Ansoft Corporation, Sr. Design Engineer at Raytheon Research Division and Advanced Device Center, and MMIC Design Engineer at M/A-COM's Advanced Semiconductor Operations. He is a 1984 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, with a concentration in microwave engineering.

DrubinCliff Drubin (Associate Technical Editor). After service in the U.S.A.F as an electronics warfare officer, Cliff joined Raytheon Company in 1976 as an electronics engineer and held various positions of increasing responsibility in design and technical management, retiring as Principal Engineering Fellow after 36 years. Areas of experience include microwave and mmw circuit design, radar transmitter and receiver/exciter design, project/program management and engineering process control. He has a B.S. degree in Engineering Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and an M.S.E.E. in Microwave Physical Electronics from Northwestern University. In his current role as MWJ associate technical editor, he participates in the selection of technical articles for publication and edits their content, as well as providing timely news articles and other material of interest to MWJ subscribers.
